How sweet...

Banner ads are annoying. This particular one caught my attention for several reasons.

First of all, have those glasses EVER been stylish? No. They weren't appropriate on the kid from A Christmas Story and they're not acceptable now.

Secondly, what the hell are they eating?? It looks like a huge creepy piece of Mickey Mouse chocolate, the size of the child's noggin, stuck to a rice krispie treat. On a stick. Hello diabetes!!

Where lazy cookies go...

I read about this place called the Austin Cookie Lounge in Tribeza magazine and had to go check it out! They will bake you fresh, individual cookies, with your selected dough and add-ins.

I chose vegan vanilla dough with macadamias & blueberries.
Carl had the same dough, but with dark chocolate & cranberries.
They even had organic soy milk.

So tasty. Oh and they deliver. Pure danger!!!

Anything's better with chocolate?

Carl & I were on sexy S. Congress the other day looking for my release party outfit. It must be pink & slightly odd. Those are my two requirements.

Anyway, we parked in front of the Big Top Candy Shop, which is this totally awesome old-fashioned soda fountain, so we popped in. They had chocolate covered bacon and we obviously had to buy a piece for Diego. He'll eat anything.

Look how much he enjoyed it!!
