My monkey & I went to see his favorite guitar player, Tommy Emmanuel, at the Texas Union Ballroom on Sunday!
The concert was beautiful and inspiring. Even though I'm not a guitar player, I feel like Tommy & Carl both write "soul melodies". And I'm not talkin' 'bout James Brown! More like this:

oops--meant to also say that I LOVE that one. Even though I am mad at him for not playing "More Than Words" that night. :)
